Partee Pavilion
A big thank you to Stan and Sue Partee for providing the Partee Pavilion. It will keep our dogs cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Thank you for all that you do to help the dogs and cats of Howard County.
We can’t begin to tell you how much our team is learning and how hard everyone is working. If we can give these dogs a foundation for good behavior and manners we can adopt out loving and confident dogs. Sunday’s are our fun days! This will one day in the near future be available to the public so check back here often. Thank you Paula and Ace for another amazing and productive training day! Thank you so much Paula Chavez!
These young entrepreneurs had a lemonade stand and used to proceeds to buy all sorts of blankets and goodies for the dogs at Happy Day!
Reader's Choice Award Winners
Thank you Howard County and Big Spring for naming Happy Day Humane Society as the Best Animal Rescue and Best Animal Shelter as voted on by the readers of the Big Spring Herald. We recently were recognized along with many of Big Spring's finest businesses and organizations during the Herald Readers' Choice 2018 voting. Rescue is an emotionally draining business that never ends. So, when we get such a nice pat on the back and such a public one as this one, it really just puts a lift in our step. So, thank you Big Spring and the outlying community. We could NOT do this without you. Please help us continue in our mission to control the pet population bu spaying and neutering cats and dogs and promoting the message to adopt, not shop. Please come by and see us at Exit 174 off I20. hcths.org
